group of students for dance marathon

This past weekend many members of the Fraternity and Sorority Life community joined with other Hawkeyes to dance the night (and day) away For the Kids (FTK)! This annual event is one of the largest on the University of Iowa's campus and brings together students, alumni, faculty, staff and community partners to raise money and awareness to battle pediatric cancer and benefit the Stead Family Children's Hospital. This event brings heavy participation from the Fraternity and Sorority Life community and helps provide an avenue for cross council and chapter collaboration. For the 2020 Big Event, fraternities had 307 participants and sororities 488. The grand total raised by FSL students was $587,674.60. We are so proud of all of our students who helped contribute to this important event and wish them the best of luck for planning DM 27!
