FSL x Campus Safety Self Defense Training

Registration is now open for a spring self-defense class for UI students. The training, which will be offered by Campus Safety in partnership with Fraternity and Sorority Life, will take place in the Field House, 225 S. Grand Ave, Room 461 on Saturday, April 13 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The course is free, but an RSVP is required so Campus Safety can prepare for the appropriate number of participants. RSVP NOW to hold your spot!

About the course: The RAD approach to personal safety education embodies a practical blend of threat avoidance strategies and real-world assault resistance. This program is designed for the average person with no previous experience or background in physical skills training, and those who participate in the course will have an opportunity to practice their skills during the last session.
