My freshman year, myself and thirty other fraternity brothers signed up for the Be the Match program volunteering to be bone marrow donors if we were ever a match with a patient in need.

The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) governs 9 multicultural fraternities and sororities that represent the Latinx, Asian, and LGBTQ+ communities, yet are inclusive to all cultural identities.

This past week, our Panhellenic community was awarded with the Academic Recognition Award by the National Panhellenic Conference. Our community has collectively achieved a higher all-sorority average than the all-women’s average on our campus.

University of Iowa departments and organizations have partnered to host our second annual National Hazing Prevention Week October 27 through November 1, 2019 to bring awareness and open dialogue about hazing on campus.
